freed Oromo slaves served in the eritrean native battalions of italian colonial army?!

Post by Waachis »

''Aga Muhammad Sa'id, was born in the Limmu district of Macca-Oromo land. He was taken from his native land and sold by slave merchants into Eritrea, the country of the Assaorta Sahos. Freed from slavery, he enlisted in the Italian colonial army and during the war in 1911-1912 fought in Libya against the Arabo-Turks. As there are many natives of Oromo countries, for the most part freed slaves, in the native battalions of Eritrea, it was again possible for Aga Muhammad to speak his native language; Afaan oromo.''

Huuno, a man of your calibre should know better.
I expected you to show a little bit more humility and compassion towards the unfortunate and those who fortune did not favour but I guess that Qurjiile Awr in you couldn't be restraint..... soo maaha huuno!(?)

Saying that I too am surprised that the Mighty Oromo were being slaved and in captivity as recently as 1950s!

May the Almighty Allah Swt give them and all those Oppressed full freedom and blessings

Why do you think Muslims are nothing in Ethiopia when they make up half, if not more, of the population?
That's why you can't trust Oromo.....they're basically plantation niggers of the Christians. :)
