This conflict has nothing to do with land grabbing or “expansions”. The on-going conflicts are orchestrated by the TPLF. They are trying their best to keep power, and cause tension with Oromos and their neighbors.

Their biggest threat in the country are the Oromos with the man power we can equipped on the front line. They know Oromos are ready to fight ever since the past few years. The fighting In Wolloo is between civilian Oromo vs the Afar state police. The Afar police are taking Orders, and the Oromos are protecting themselves.

Why would we want to expand into the Afar land, of all lands? Wallo Oromos are not nomads, they wouldn’t be able to survive the conditions of the Afar region.

With a state of emergency, the military runs everything. There has been a state of emergency for 5-6 months now. The TPLF have control of the military, not the Oromo PM or OPDO. The current PM is part of OPDO, which is part of the EPRDF which is ruled and controlled by the TPLF.

An Oromo may have been given the role of PM, but that doesn’t make him he leader of the country. Again, these people are house negros working for their TPLF masters.

There has never been Oromia Police In the Somali region, there is no need. There has been liyu police coming into Oromia killing and displacing eastern Oromos. So we need to arm ourselves and defend our people and land from their expansion west. We don’t need your land, our police don’t interfere with your issues, yet your liyu police think they can do as they please? How does this sound, ridiculous right?

Why do we need to target innocent Somalis? I’m from the border area and trust me, we have no issue. It’s divide and conquer tactics used by again TPLF thugs and they have Oromo and Somali at it. Now they have Oromo and Afar at it. We have never went into the Somali side and displaced anyone. There have been innocent Somalis wrongly targeted in the tensions last year, but that is it.

Don’t think of this as a war/fight between Oromos and Somalis. It’s a fight with the Oromia region leaders and Somali region leaders taking order from their masters.
