Why do Somalis go to Pakistan?

Considering the rife racism and hate for Pakistanis in general why do Somalis travel there work and educated themselves in a country they dislike? Then they have the audacity to insult and bite the hand which feeds them.

I met a Somali in University in London who said he spent 7 years in Islamabad. I think Pakistanis are either mentally retarded or they have a weird fetish of being abused by the people they feed and support considering Lahores GDP is larger than the whole of Somalia....

Most somalis study in India particularly in hydrabad and malaisya no one goes Pakistan the only people I know who went to Pakistan they joined the Taliban.

Honestly somalis dont hate Pakistanis specifically!
It happens that they hate every living and non living object: cats, trees , human beings (whether somali or non somali), air, land see, viruses, etc
pretty much the same way pakis hate everything under the sky

I think u both have a common ancestors! Most Pakistanis claim they are descendants of Arabs the same way our somalis claim they are arabs ...so u guys are cousins

The Somalis who visit Pakistan are from Africa. Those Somalis do not have much of a footprint online.

What we have online are western raised Somalis or heavily influenced This particular group, specially younger folks seem to have developed some type of unhealthy animus towards Arabs or Pakistani, maybe because of all the negative western Media and the pressure they face in balancing their Islamic heritage background and the cultures of their newly adopted country.
