When Somaliland found out no port deal with Ethiopia now that diplomatic resumption between Addis and Asmara is back on solid footing. Folks went bananas.

For an ciiise fellow you seem to be thinking that isaaq will be losers. But dijbouti makes 2 billion dollars in revenue from port bussines.
This means when tegaru kebessa hamasien and tigray make up, their new ports assab and massawa will be used . Means less money for diibouti as it stands now Ethiopia uses 90 percent Djibouti and 10 percent berbera very small. Intad Isaaq is leedihid ku xume kabassa and tigray. Making peace is bad for me and you.
And onlf ogaden separatists which means asmara won't won't a safe haven for ogaden separatists
Eritrea is Djibouti enemy numbero uno it holds ras demeria . You should how to.liberate your land from these kebessa rulers of asmara

$2 billion or $200 billion, majority of people don't know where that money goes. I get the point though.
As if Assab/Massawa ports would spring up from thin air. No. It would take years to develop, billions to invest, all of that is preceded by Asmara settling issues with its neighbors before foreign investors are comfortable with the regime in Asmara.
This is a master plan by Tigray to eventually join their cousins and form a political and economic alliance, they don't see themselves ruled by Oromos and Amharas ever again.
To us Somalis that is fine. Let the freaking Christians go away. Centers of populations in Ethiopia are in Oromia region, we will do business with them. The infrastructure is already there. Rail line links Addis to Djibouti, highways are built, dry dock Ethio side of the border (in Sitti Zone), DIFTZ in Djibouti. We just need peace and good leadership on all sides.
