A piece run by the Reporter Amharic on 18 Jully, 2018 quotes Dr. Negeri Lencho that ‘the Somali-Oromo border conflict is a front for a Regional conflict that is organized and coordinated in the Somali Region’.
In the article, it also claims that ‘the border conflicts that erupted between Somali and Oromia regions is a conflict that has a political mission to create havoc and chaos across the Horn of Africa.
It also noted that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has ordered the Army to intervene on the border areas to bring the situation under control.
In it is analysis, the piece extensively quotes Negeri Lenccho (PhD), Head of the Oromia Bureau of Communications.
Some of those quotes are mind-blowing in their directness and specificity. In one of the quotes, Negeri Lencho claims that the border conflict between the two regions is intended to create chaos and disrupt across the whole region of Eastern Africa and the Somali-Oromia border conflict is a Front for this wider Regional conflict.
It also claims that ‘the border conflict that erupted between the Somali and Oromia regions is a conflict that has a political mission.
In the piece, Negeri Lencho also claims that “recently, the Somali Region Liyu Police, at times in civilian clothing and at times wearing military outfits, undertakes cross-border attacks into Oromia region with heavy weapons and military trucks killing civilians and burning houses”.
Negeri Lencho also claims in this report, that what he calls ‘[Liyu Police] incursions into Oromia’ is to ‘destabilize Oromia Region and sabotage the new prime minster’s administration’.
The other bombshell claim in this report that is attributed to Negeri Lencho is the claim that there is evidence supporting his claim that ‘there is a network that spreads across the federal government, neighboring countries as well as Somali Region security forces’ that is invested in this conflict.
In a similar claim, he contends that ‘there is a network of contrabandists and foreign exchange traders that uses both the central and regional government customs authorities who are sponsoring this conflict in order to protect their illicit interests and monopoly’.
Negeri Lencho also alluded that there was a peace conference that was scheduled to take place before the last Ramadan fasting season as part of prime minister Abiy’s initiative for peace in his visit to Jigjiga but was nonetheless canceled a just a week before it’s scheduled start date.
He has also noted the renewal of the conflict right after the Ramadan fasting season implying that it has something to do with the cancelled be peace conference that was originally planned to take place in Adama City of the Oromia Region.
He also acknowledged the peculiarity of the conflict in terms the vastness of the affected area as well as its mounting casualty.
He also alleged that ‘the violence is being instigated by those forces that are not happy with the peace and order that has been observed in the country. He also expressed that their identities will be revealed soon.

Oromo are being driven out of Jigjiga as we speak. Soon, there won't be a single Oromo in Somali territories.
Stay in your lands.

Feel free to deport who you want, but I am just posting what I read, and I'll let you guys judge for yourself, and if you're gullible enough to fall for the TPLFs old divide and conquer tactics, you have every right to, lol. Just know that it's not a simple conflict, there are many internal and external forces benefiting from it and fueling it... and the crimes of the liyyu outweigh anything the oromo individuals, who don't represent all or even the majority of oromo, ever did, by far.
