Reports from Jigjiga indicate there is active fighting between Iilay and the Ethiopian federal troops who came to depose him.
So far there is no sight of Iilay.
meanwhile, mass looting is taking place in Jigjiga. Many Ethiopian stores have been ransacked

This is exactly what I predicted.....as soon as peace was established between Xabasha the Somali's are done.
I expect a huge offensive against the Somali region imminently.

He should have thought about not warring with his people. Liyuu will be slaughtered by the Somali people in every village they escape to. They spilled too much of our blood more than what the Habeshi or Oromo have.
Now is not the time to be emotional and to defend a thug like Ileey. It is time to bring them to justice and set a course towards forming an inclusive administration

I hope they kill every single one of liyuu otherwise known as "Nayaa boolis" and parade their body in the streets. Frankly, its xabashi vs xabashi conflict which am sure there won't be no tears shed outside jigjiga

Don’t listen to the darood propaganda and crocodile tears. There is no war on Somalis the dictator Abdi illey was trying to assassinate somali elders going to dir daba who were going to depose him. The panic from a certain demographic is because they support illey for tribal reasons. There will be a new maamul and we will move forward.

the level of ignorance among somali has no bonders, Habashi will slaughter Liyuu Polis or somali civilians alike, they dont care who"s Liyu or not, the on going massacre of Oromos against somalis is good example, keep saying it's Ogaden, isaaq or dir we don't care but Habashi's dont care about you what ever clan you belong to so long you are somali .
ps i didn't know Ileey had power to defend himself against Habashi, i dont know what going on but if he can defy Habashi orders,
the guy has a power after all.

he tried to kill 200 of YOUR OWN SOMALI ELDERs, WHO WERE on their way to dire dawa, and he provoked and made the SOMALI MAYOR OF DIRE DAWA, adam farah, declare a state of emergency.

There is no fighting.
When the Federal came, few Liyu police fired at them but were met with hail of bullets.
They all fled or surrendered.
Federal controls parliament, presidential, town hall, airport and other centers.
Abdi iley is with the army and they asked him to record a video.
He may have already be taken.
A temporary leadership will be set up including thise who were meeting in Dire.
Good riddance to the thug. I wonder if he is crying; Meles is alive, he will free ne, we are all Meles.

You mean your region of gedo is next since ethiopian troops are already there thanks to darod invitation? There is no chance of Ethiopia invading Somaliland but they have already invaded Somalia thanks to your community....
