General Gebre is leading the Liyyu

General Gebre, the same tigrayan who used to slap somali leaders around in mogadishu, sell arms to rival clans, and much more, is leading the liyyu polis against the ethiopian forces in jigjiga/and its areas. there are other tigrayan generals involved, as well.

Don't tell us what the Tigrean or Somali's are doing.....tell us what your Oromo are up to.
We want intel....tell us where they will strike next....which village and community. :)

Stop looking for excuses cos your oromo troops got their ass handed to them.

At this rate Oromo won't survive long, it hasn't even been a year since they took power and have already made enemies left, right and centre. The lowly savages have no sense of smart politics hence why amhar & tigray were able to keep this horde in chains for so long.

Oromos are born survivors bro, this is nothing; we've survived way more than this.
AND Actually, the army behaved well. they could have done what the tplf and abdi did to your people for years, and respond with live bullets, against rocks and stick-wielding civilians. but they withdrew to the areas surrounding jigjiga, and still control the airports, highways, etc.
i am proud that they didn't massacre civilians. they maintained discipline, as they should have.

A massacre wouldn't have been possible as:

1. Abiy would have burnt his face to the international community
2. Liyu outnumbered oromo troops
3. The whole city was against this operation

Abyi and oromo have shown their lack of political nous. Now everybody is aware that abiy is nothing but an oromo qeero hooligan.

Furthermore the ethio army got their main strenght from the 100k TPLF troops. Without them the army is mediocre at best.

1. Nobody cares when africans kill each other, and the recent and less-recent history of that continent proves that.
2. if that were the case, why were many liyyu surrendering weapons, and even cooperating. if that were the case, reinforcements can easily be called in, if need be.
3. doesn't matter, rocks and stones can never beat tanks, ak-47s, and helicopter gunships.

but if that makes u feel better, sure, go ahead my brother, no problem.
tplf is nothing. they are hiding in mekelle as they hope and pray oromo and somali kill each other so they can maybe emerge from the ashes and get power ''back.''
they are only dominant in the top positions, and even that, they're losing quickly, they are being fired.
the soldiers is 35-40% oromo, 40 percent amharas, and the rest are gurage, afar, welayta, sidama, and others.

If Liyu was surrendering why did the oromos retreat. Your jawar mohamed propaganda won't work here. Get ready for a long war against Ogaden. We will treat muslim oromo the same as their christian counterparts.

because they did not want to massacre civilians. otherwise, they could have easily responded to sticks & stones with live bullets. they still control your airports, highways, and other key installations.
we do not see this as ogaden vs oromo, we see this as abdi vs ethiopia conflict, and it will soon be finished; abdi will face justice, no matter how much u shed tears for your criminal clansmen.

The situation will be resolved very quickly. All indicators show that in as long as the traditional leaders are concerned, the Garaad of the Ogaden is an intelligent man who's worked as a civil servant . What really is not only sickening but also very sad is the vitriolic speech and extreme postures displayed by certain members of the diaspora from all tribal background PRECISELY when we know that there's absolutely NOTHING they can personally do about it . It is diagnosed as a mental health shortcoming in civilized circles. You can do better my brothers , all of you

Your oromos posing as fake federal troops left the city with tail between their legs. They're back inside barracks and surrounded by Liyu. Iley can only be removed by Ogaden.

Abiy is out of his depth, the poor lad is playing monopoly on a chess board

keep telling lies sir, if that makes u feel better. this was a poorly planned operation, but the goal is lofty and worth fighting for; that dictator illey has to go and will go, it's a matter of when, not if. if u think liyyu can handle and sustain a protracted conflict with the ethiopian army, we shall indeed see sir, and if they do win, we'll give credit where it's due as real warriors should!
oromos aint the only ones in the army. it's an ethiopian affair-handled by ethiopia's army-so there are other ethnic groups as well.
LOL @ surrounded, if that were the case, trust, more soldiers, with tanks, helicopters, etc, would be there by now.
do not exaggerate my friend. next u will say liyyu conquered addis ababa and then planted their flag in eritrea too.
kkkkk....

The oromo slave has grown arrogant claiming the same army that was oppressing him a few months ago. I can't believe I used to feel sorry for your people for the sake of Islam but now that they've got the PM position their true self has come out.

Indeed amhara and tigray were right to have you in chains for over a century. When you give mercy to the lowly slave he turns into a monster with no morals.

There is no ethiopian army without tplf. Why haven't the oromo said anything about their troops captured at the tigray airport? you cowards won't survive a war against Ogaden and tigray.

If the army is doing a job well-done, such as hunting well known criminals; then why would I oppose them?
If they fight terrorists, such as al shabab, why would I oppose them? if they do well, they deserve credit, if they do bad, they deserve condemnation. it's simple bro. it's not that difficult of a concept to grasp.
with all due respect, if somalia were strong enough, they would not need the presence of other armies, to fight al shabab.
am i wrong there or???

your nationalism is why u oppose the army being there, because other somalis ain't mad at it, they welcomed this move and called for it.
if abdi didn't side with tplf, and kill his own people, and ours, this would have never happened in the first place.
if he wants to help tplf destabilize the country and even try to destroy it---he will have to face the consequences.
do not expect ethiopians to sit by and say okay cool destroy our country and drag the region down with it, just to keep 1 tyrant, abdi, in power!

abdi got himself, and your region in this mess. he has the blood of 10's of thousands of innocent people on his hands, and will have to pay the price for it.
just imagine the oromo mother, who got kicked out of the somali region, and separated from 3-4 kids.
she doesn't even know if they are alive--her beloved babies. she was hysterical!!
imagine her dua to Allah, and how fast Allah responded?!
