No countries have allies just mutual interest. I find this deal skeptical as the Chinese often burdens poor countries in debt then takes states assets.

At least the Chinese leave infrastructure which can be used for decades. And the level of debt and slavery isn't the same as former colonial masters or IMF/World Bank.
