Is Mustafe Cagjar Taking An Oath Of Office Of Presidency Or Is He Simply Just Making Promises?

Haday dhaar tahey, Mee Kitaabkuu ku dhaaranaayo?

Since an oath is a swearing in the presence of Allah with regard to a commitment one is making to the people, and usually when taking An oath of office one is expected to place his/her right hand on a religious scriptures e.g. The Quraan.

Now have a look at this oath ceremony and tell me where is the Quraan that the President is meant to place his hand on to Solemny Swear to Allah to witness his determination to speak the truth, to keep a promise, etc.: ?

Ethiopia is a secular state so religion is completely separate from matters of state/government whether at the national or a lower level.

I think for Muslim citizens only issues of family and personal status are dealt with by a sharia court whilst every other matter is under the purview of a secular court of a particular regime level
