this is such a shame, Berbera port is a strategic port for Somalis, but ever since Ethiopia and UAE took over its been a failure and that was the plan they had for berbera so it could never compete with Jebel port in UAE and Ethiopia always wanted access to Eritrean port, Berbera was sabotaged by foreigners may allah cure the minds of our habar awal brothers.

The iidoor will herd themselves into hell just to get away from their fellow Somali's.
They've made their bed.....let them lay in it.

He is not from Italian Somalia. He is a qurjile dhulos a nation of snitches and rats , in every regime they served as spies and freeloaders. Hence their perpetual hate for anything decent and Noble.SuperLander wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 2:12 pmall Somalis are getting away from one another...where have you been this whole timeoriginal dervish wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 12:42 pm The iidoor will herd themselves into hell just to get away from their fellow Somali's.

It means Berbera handles far more cargo now and wasn't able to handle all the extra load/business.
It probably needs small some patching but Faqash can stay mad. The port and base are going well.
The new base is 10km west of the city center

When we zoom it in

Is that going to be a naval base or something? or new port?AwRastaale wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 10:55 pm It means Berbera handles far more cargo now and wasn't able to handle all the extra load/business.

It's the new naval and military base. It is completely separate from DP World.Tycoon5647 wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 11:14 amIs that going to be a naval base or something? or new port?AwRastaale wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 10:55 pm It means Berbera handles far more cargo now and wasn't able to handle all the extra load/business.

It's been developed by Sharjah company.
Even closer look

Once it's done it will look something like this. As you can see it's slowly taking same shape/design. This is the one in Eritrea, which is about 1-2 years ahead. They won't build runway instead they will use the old Berbera runaway but a new commercial airport is expected.

I measured both ports' berths and as of now Assab is 247m across while Berbera is 200m across. Assab is nearing finish while Berbera is still been drenched so in the end might be same size berths but the Berbera one is longer. The Port of Mogadishu spans 155m where Assab marine base is 247m and Berbera marine base is 200m as of now.

The one in Assab is also about 10-11km outside the city, it seems everything is very consistent and they have a blue-print for all their bases.
I just took these screen shots (present)

BTW you can see the heavy machinery at work including dozers, trucks, excavators, etc. I have marked them. When you zoom in more it's more clear but I wanted to capture the entire area.

Looks like yet another topic that back fired on the envious Faqash.

I'm going to educate the enemies today since I have little free time.
This is the concerned area in 2016, early 2017, mid-2017 and 2018. The dates of each frame have been captured (wan kula so qabtay)
2016, absolutely nothing there...solid coastline.

Early 2017, March 9th 2017

By May 20th you can see they began moving the earth.

And finally, 1st of September

I wonder how Faqash will make excuses for this one now. Call the Ras when you want to humiliate them.
