Practically all wars in Europe from around 1200 till WW2 were instigated and facilitated but what you assume are freemasons/ illuminati etc.
Both sides of every conflict was financed by them. They win andbgrew stronger with every war.

There were hitches, unexpected outcomes and resistance like Hitler, Stalin, pope Clement and definitely Vladimir Putin.
