Am ok guys thanks. I was ex Christchurch resident, nonetheless I am worried about the good Somali fella who shall remain unnamed who hosted me to his house during my clinical placement at the Christchurch hospital... No answer yet.. I hope he is ok..

Update on my current city, the mosques are completely on lockdown and surrounded by heavy police presence..

Qoraxeey that mosque survived the massive earthquake city had back in 2011, and now this?? There is only so much a mosque can take. Anyway, those people died with the intention of worshipping their creator so really are fortunate to have left in such state. AUN to them.

Ideally it would be nice if all mosques were within 5 mins drive from the nearest police station. Some are, some not.
