Lool it happens. Somali women and young guys have unusual and surprising names. Sometimes very bizarre and conflicting as you can see the above example

Officer : where are you from ?
Eglan: Somaliland , hargeisa , especially half London .
Officer: interesting , why you fled From your country ?
Eglan : because I am hebrew ( yibir) my people are discriminated by the Arabs who are based in Sinai (siinaaay) district in hargeisa, the Arabs destroyed my shop when my sister Berlin fell in love with one of them called Raabi ( rabbi is the Jewish sheikh) as result they killed my father baqdaadi and forced us to flee to faluja and qandahar refegee camps in burao.

Officer : what happened then ?
Eglan : an other clan called Jesus moses chased us from qandahaar , then I moved to borama a place called Siberia , before I crossed the border to jigjiga , I worked in the Taiwan market near havana. .....

There are no such Somali names. Out of all the name you mentioned above only Europe is a Somalilander female name. I bet less than 10 women are named Europe and they are in their 60s at least. They have been named Europe because their fathers were in Europe when they were born.

Geni not Sterling can be found in Somaliland. Another rare old name not used anymore. Till now Somalilanders call Pound Sterling " Geni".

Gaddafi and Erdogan are family name not first name.

They are not really Somali names but a couple of weird alien names that should be avoided at all costs

Despicable names

Doolar
Istarliin
Malyuun
Baarliin
Iglan
Gini

However, I have soft spot for Somali names that signify prominent Islamic sanctuaries and cities such as

Mako
Barso
Maqdis
Istambuul
Xamaro
Madino

My point is ,those names don't only confuse immigrations but also confuse all rational minds who believe child naming is crucial matter and that every child deserves a better name that reflects both the prevailing traditions and religion of a society.

All of them exists and you can do your research.

Somalis , name famous Muslim world leaders after their children. Erdogan is the newest , somali baby names in Mogadishu.

And all the places I posted exists in somaliland. They were named after the wars in the middle East , or the places we have large diaspora. For example , many Somali cities have Sinai districts in support of Egypt against Israel. We have qandahar in burao , it was IDP during the Afghan war . Now it's a place with famous hotels .

Jigjiga has a place called havana , in relation to the cuban forces who were stationed in jigjiga during the Somali ethio war . Even buhotle has soweto named after South African Town. I guess it's related to the Mandela revolution , but I am not so sure.

I didn't say anything about the places' names but female names.

I won't be surprised if qadaadweyne named their kids Erdogan. Afterall they have weird names. I'm referring to what you claimed are Somali female names like England, Istanbul, Berlin and Rahim Sterling!
