I did not know so many embassies were in Mogadishu prior to the 1991 civil war. I think a lot of them were there to make a good impression on the UN and other countries. Even North Korea had an embassy there!

I was able to scrounge up some pictures of the South Korean embassy, but was unable to find North Korea. Do any of you guys have pictures of the embassies before 1991?

It would be cool to see North Korea, Egypt, Italy (I think theirs was second biggest next to US), France, etc.

Here's South Korea I found... please share what you can find too!
