"Let me take the case of Somaliland first. To me, this [case] is open and shut. Of course it should be recognised as an independent sovereign state, its operated that way for 27 years. Somaliland is a perfect example of the kind absurdity of the policy that is based on preserving forever the territorial integrity of a state that actually does not exist, i.e Somalia with its [current] borders on the map."








The world is waking up to the fact that Somalia as a state simply does not exist. The boon cheeseman has so far been the best thing to ever happen to Somaliland's international diplomacy

It's the world should reward the the toughest , not weakest. Governments in zoomalia, Yemen and Libya are all failed . For that reason they don't deserve to be babysitted. The world should work with, somaliland, khalifa haftar, houthis in the north and the south Yemen republic.

With all this military and economical clout at it's disposal, I don't know why Somaliland does not apply more pressure to force the hapless Wanlaweyn nation sign a final agreement on separation.
