Isn't that dam on the Blue Nile? How does the construction of that damn affect Gedo region? The charcoal trade is a problem though because it is very profitable. Ahmed Madoobe, Al Shabaab and Kenyans are all in it together too. The government in Mogadishu ignoring it is the problem. Al Shabab being defeated in Jubbada Dhexe is key to ending the charcoal trade.

I confused with the Ganale Doria one. Ethiopia controlling us in water rights and electricity is a future resource war.

I detest Ahmed Madobe. He needs to go and Farmaajo is a weakling bro. This is a Murusade government.

Caabudwaaq is like an open air prison in 2019 and a refuge for Mareexaan from Kilinka, Muqdisho and central regions, surrounded by enemies on all sides trading is virtually impossible without it filling the pockets of the enemy, furthermore they are cutting down every single tree south and east of Caabudwaaq and selling it to Arabs in Hobyo, its insane time we will live in these people have no shame, irreversibly changing the climate of a once green lush land. The politics of the region is also complex and impossible to work out, this is what happens to a land locked tribe, hope the Mareexaan in the south have their pen and pad out and do not allow Kismaayo to go.

Ma Shaa Allah Luuq is breathtaking. My Pops used to jump in the river from one end as a kid and swim to the other.
