Official Breaking News: Oil/Gas Sharing in Soomali-Galbeed

Post by Jabuutawi »

Ethiopia's parliament and DDS officials have come to terms with the oil/gas revenues sharing. Somali Region gets 50% of all revenue -- far cry from the 5% from prior Tigray and DDSI officials.

This is great news. I am moving to Soomali-Galbeed and claim piece of the pie soon. Region is big enough and, now, rich enough for all.

Inta aan wali fahmin qoraalka aan so dhignay waxa aan sheegnay dakhaliga shidaalka iyo faaiidada ka soo baxdo khayraadka kale ba ka ee so xeroodo
Marka shirkada shidaalka soo saartay shidaalka qeybteeda qaadato inta ka soo hadho ayaa loo qeybsan doona 50℅ Degaanka somalida halka 50℅ ba dowlada federaalka Itoobiya iyo degaanada kale u qeyb sandoonan min 25℅, sidoo kale saamiga ku soo aada dawlada fedaralka ee ah 25% kiiba in qeyb uu ku leeyahay degaanka somalidu DDS

The devil is in the details, but depending on how much of a bite the oil exploration company takes, we will find out soon whether this is good investment for the region in the long haul.
