I'm gonna leave one comment but dont ask me more questions.

I have always said that SL had its biggest chance under farmaajo for example Kenya and UAE were a pro-Dblock specially PL and JL and they switched now to SL. This Govt has issued statement asking diplomats not to use Nairobi as a place for their Somalia-related activities and now Nairobi is all about SL!

Kenya wants to make exception for the African 1964 charter in cairo for SL wich Somalia did not sign it. This charter says to adhere to the African colonial borders this is why Somalia and morroco were against it bc polisario was colonized by Spain and SL by Britain, Djibouti by France, Ogaden by Ethiopia and NFD by Britain.

If Ethiopia cooperates on this with Kenya and already Egypt is dealing with SL then the biggest obstacle to SL recognition will be removed this is the only
US and EU conditions to recognize SL. I'm out now.

Yep Kenya will lose the court case and will get payback by lobbying somalilands recognition as somaliland by international law is not part of Somalia as we have no ratified treaty of union and we are kept together by the incompetence of the African Union which is a assembly of mostly dictators. Europe and America said we will recognise somaliland if the African Union does. The Arab league are no longer duulan on us as theyve realised they can only get access to the red sea coast by dealing with somaliland and Somalia will never have influence there. Kenyan foriegn minister has also said its not against international or African Union law to deal with somaliland as the 1964 African chapter which says borders are based on colonial ones.

Kenyan foreign minister Monica seemed like she studied somaliland case. She cleverly Said that Kenya respecs 1964 African charter, knowing that somaliland claim is based on that charter which somalia never signed due to it's plans to invade Kenya and Ethiopia. Kenya Will never regret to recognize somaliland because if we reunite with somalia we will definitely invade Kenya some time in the near future. The only reason we first United with Somalia was to attack Ethiopia and reclaim hawd. We were never United for better life , we were United for better military power. Wich led to our demise .

First waa runtaa Kenya will probably lose the court case aan isku heeysano xuduuda badda Somalia iyo kenya. Arrinta ah kenya ayaa aqoonsaneysa Somaliland waa riyo. 30kii sano ugu danbeeyey cid aqoonsatey ama ku dhacda inay ku xadgudubto territorial integrity of Somali republic. Wax dheeldheel ah maaha in lagu xadgubto territorial integrity xuduudaha Somalia oo ah mid dunida dhan aqoonsan tahay.
Dhinaca kale arrinta ah Somalia ma lahayn ama ratified treaty of midowgii former italian and british somaliland waa beentaa.
Xaqiqdii Somalia 1961 elections overwhealming majorty ayaa lagu ansixiyey midowgii north and south.. dastuurkii midowga laba gobol.

constitutional referendum was held in Somalia on 20 June 1961 to vote on the new constitution for the country created the previous year by the union of British Somaliland and Italian Somaliland. It was approved by 90.56% of voters.[1]

In that referendum Somaliland people voted against the union . Only the south voted Yes that's why we call you wanlaweyn because there was unusual number of voters in that district.

Over 90% of Somalis voted yes and only 9 % voted No. So are you saying in 1961 North population was less then 10 % of Somali population?

Don't waste your time with theyuusuf143. The kid erroneously claims anything that supports secessionist views. He'll stick to those views even if proven wrong 100%.

Listen mr dameer somalilanders boycotted the rigged referendum in any case that is not a treaty of union. For two nations to unite a ratified treaty of union between the two heads of state has to be signed and passed by both parliaments which never happened. The South didn't agree with the first treaty of union and there was an understanding we will make one. In that one year period southerners embeded themselves in Somaliland and for all intensive purposes annexed somaliland which lead to a coup in the North. The coup perpatraters won in court and could not be punished for this as somaliland was still a sovereign. General caynashe who was later shot like a dog himself and waqooyi politicians talked the military personal out of the coup.

The 2005 AU report verifies all of this. Somaliland has been stopped by Djibouti the Arab league and the North African countries from gaining access to the AU. EU and America said they would recognise somaliland if AU does. Now we have the Arabs on board and the Africans. We already had nations like South Africa and Ghana who were supporting of us. In 2007 the AU said its not the right time for this as somalia was occupied by terrorists.

Either way we are prepared for conflict that will be the cataylist for recognition and Kenya will make sure we get recognition as aargosi as by law somalilands case for recognition is stone wall.
