The city is on emergency lockdown. The isbadal candidates and their clans ( primarily Cawlyahan and Reer Diini, plus Makahiil and even Harti) have all their clan militias guarding them due to the fear of Madobe's soliders indiscriminately shooting. Serar has broken the Ahmed Madobe support amongst OGs apart with all the Cawlyahan filling behind him and throwing their support towards minister Oomar, whose ahyl bayt of Jubboyinka. Ahmed tried to take over the airport of Kismayo but the AMSOM commander whose Ethiopian that Fahad Yassin paid off told him no. Ahmed for fear of his own safety has left the Madaxtodoya and is holed with his loyal soliders left in the guesthouse of Kismayo.
The reason all happened is because Minister of security of Jubbaland, Cabdirashid Janan and Minister of interior, Darawiish have thrown their support towards SFG after disagreeing with his heavy handedness and cutting of ties with SFG. Madoobe lost support due to his dictatorial takeover of the elections and his ambition of the repeat of 2012 election. Plus, the lack of support amongst the Issmo of Jubbaland who he tried to sidestep by creating fake Issmo list that is not authentic by the federal govt and Beesha caleemka standards. His own ministers betrayed him. Now a large party of SFG MPs and the head commander of AMSOM along with Oomar are expected in Kismayo in the next few days and are to be welcomed by Janan and Darawiish. Check mate.
Nabad iyo Nolol did it again. This time by letting Ahmed Madobe hang by his own rope.

This is precarious period for J/L.
Can't say I know too much about Madobes rule in Kismayo except that he kept the peace and security, which was better than anything before.
If he has gone I hope the next group can build upon Madobes legacy inshallah.

You need to calm down. Jubbaland will always be Ogaden since 2013. As long as IGAD, Kenya politicians have a key role Ogaden will be the front runner. Its not about will a Ogaden lead but which one.
N&N recognize this so they’re trying to at least have one they can work with, like they did with the other States. Out of all the regional states that grouped together against N&N They have all backtracked except for Madoobe.

The reaaon N& N are against Madhoobe has nothing to do with development.
N& N fell out with madhoobe because he refused to sign documents that N& N were forcing him to.The document was guving thwm full rights to sell oil blocks to a foreign company of which Soma oil is a stakeholder.
That is why they have brought in clowns with money yo distabilise JL.If JL is distabilised AS will take over seems like that is what the FG is aiming at.

that's true, well then Marehan needs to have both the presidency of JL and the premiership/presidency of Somalia at the same time for the federal govt to directly control the whole of JL

N& N have failed in Xamar they are an incompetent clowns.Infact they have evolved to become mafioso assasinating people and bringing mogadishu to a halt after closing roads that link the city.

This has nothing to do with oil or competence. It's purely qabyaalad. Mareexan does not want ogaaden. Even if ogaaden bring their best of the best still you Will see these same peaple complaining. This is not unique case in jubaland. It exists every where . If any mareexan ever says he does not like madoobe because of his leadership style. That's a pure lie. But if he says we want our own man in the place or at least a puppet of farmaajo then he is telling the truth.
