What Would Happen If Somalia Became 4 Independent Countries?

1.Puntland Republic
2 Somaliland Republic
3Jubbaland Republic
4.& Rest Xamar Republic

In my opinion horta Somaliland would immediately go into civil war with all their habros fighting over for real power.
Xamar Republic would still be fighting to get it's foot on the ground.
Jubbaland would be struggling internally and externally for a few years and come out strong.
Puntland would have it's boat rocked but continue sailing.

I think this our best option, I am pushing for this plan in a year status quo no longer acceptable.

Unfortunately the status quo is acceptable to the international community and that is wgat matters.

The only way out is to come together and build the country.....there is no other way.

Without somalia puntland Will definitely join Somaliland. Why not unite all harti create the republic of Horn Africa with it's capital In sanaag. If the habros fight kill them , if the hartis fight we kill them , that's how we should maintain peace and prosperity.

SL will always be peaceful and developing, same can't be said about neighbouring Somalia including Buglayn MJ fiefdom. Either Somalia and Somaliland will become two centralised, officially independent countries or that them two will join my country Ethiopia, Eritrea and Djibouti and become one single country made up of five regions with the same colonial made boundaries

Somalia as an independent country separate from Somaliland will abolish federalism for centralism, destroy/break-up the enclaves especially so called 'Puntland' and become a unitary country of 13 regions forever ruled by benign Hawiye strongmen presidents with iron fists from Mogadishu

Surprisingly one thing the International community believes in unanimously is 1 Somalia. Problem is Somalia historically was never one except for a brief period it was a bunch of scattered tribes. If there was ever going to be a place recognized by now it would have been Somaliland with the English Somaliland thing, own flag, etc and they are not and never will be. I think the world powers want just 1 Somali Gov they can deal with when it comes to securing their interests and then call it a day. They know if they recognize one they will have to recognize 500 more.

For example recognize Puntland, and I give it 1 hear before Maakhir, SSC etc rise up.

no, there would only be two countries called Somaliland and Somalia with the same colonial borders as before 1st July 1960. Recognition for SL independence is a matter of WHEN not IF since the cause of non-recognition is SL's former partner Somalia being a balkanized failed country that exists only on paper. Once Somalia recovers and has a single authority that fully controls 100% of its (ex italian) territory then they'll be forced, along with the world, to recognise an independent SL as both Somalia will have no possibility to peacefully or violently rule Somaliland as well as key foreign powers going to protect SL and force Somalia to accept the wishes of S/Landers which forever is by an overwhelmingly majority for independence

Isaaq is too civil to tear their country. The caare sistuion is under control.

You forgetting there's a fight in puntland in Buran and I dont think puntland wit piracy isil tribal war and galmudug and somaliland at it's door will be a country.
