Islamic State militants in Somalia say they will release jihadist materials in Amharic - a step unmistakably aimed at winning recruits in restive, neighboring Ethiopia.

The announcement came in the form of a three-minute video released last month by pro-Islamic State sites and endorsed by the official IS media. The video posted the words to one of Islamic State's best-known chants in Amharic and promised IS will release more materials in the language, one of the two most-spoken tongues in Ethiopia.

Pm Abiy may have angered some arab country or their allies who now are desperate enough to try this. Ethiopian Muslims will stand with Ethiopia against all external foes.

Why now?
Seems like it is a way to take rights of muslims in Ethiopia.Abye has become very unpopular in Ethiopia that the only way he can regain trust is to use Christian card.
There is no Isis in Ethiopia just a brand used by Abye to try salvage what os left of Ethiopia.

ODP has created " ISIS" in Ethiopia just like Zwnawi fostered Alitihad gave them opportunity then attacked them and seeked help from USA.Which then enabled Zenawi to grow balls and also eventually lick out Isais Afaworki from Ethiopia.
I guess Isias is reading to him the same old manual he read to Zenawi before Zenawi backstabbed him.
