A conflict with Kenya would be in our interest. As it would lead to the financial collapse of Kenya. We need to cut off the Khat and fund the Luo, the main rival of the Kikuyu. Ratchet up the tribalism. That would eliminate Kenya in a week.

In my opinion, Somalia is not at a stage where it can engage in war with anyone. If it was it would have forced the regional governments into submission using its military instead of either bribing them with loads of money or staying silent when they are breaking the law like Ahmed Madoobe recently did with his sham elections. It is getting there though and the leaders in Mogadishu, despite all the criticism they get, realize that and are staying patient and playing the long game.
