Crying is normal. i have no shame in admitting that i sometimes cry. i cried watching movies like Shawshank Redemption, at my H.S graduation, when i received my college acceptence letter, when my little neice was born, who by the way i had the privillege to be the 1st person to hold him besides the doctor....it's only tears my friend. there is nothing wrong with them.
there is a difference between crying out loud and just tears coming down your face, men who cry out loud need serious help.
It depends what the person goes through. People grief in different ways; some people cry when their pets die while others don't cry when their parents die.
It's ok for a guy to cry sometimes, especially when it's appropriate and in a proper way. Wailing like a kid or as certain women do isn't ok for a guy. Crying silently with a few tears is the proper way. Actually, crying is good for the health. Sometimes when I read or listen to the Qur'an, I involuntarily cry silently.
