Okay The Somali Troop Training Thing Is Concerning

Post by Murax »

Who the hell is responsible for the training of troops, where are they being deployed, how are they being integrated into Military chain of command, etc?

Countries I hear who have ‘trained Somali troops’

-Turkey
-US
-UK
-UAE
-Qatar
-AMISOM

Okay so UAE, Qatar probably just trained them on the proper way to hold a pepsi. AU they probably just watched porn, soccer in the training sessions as they don’t want Somali to ever get a Army. so that leaves Turkey, US, UK. Are they working in unison or separately? Anyone who has any details on how this works please let me know.

Not an answer to ur question but remember a lot of people benefit from Somalia being in a coma-like state. Other than Turkey, no one has good intentions. Even turkey has a plan but they are helping us out of walaalnimo and islamnimo so no problem if they have influence over Somalia for years to come. Out of the carabs qatar and Kuwait are the most decent. Kenya and Ethiopian forces being in Somalia is a grave threat long term for the Somali people as a whole. These Amhara believe Somalia is part of their empire and it is their destiny to rule over us. The Kenyans I prefer to them. Yes, they want our territorial waters but they don’t have as sinister agenda as the Ethiopians. The kenyans right now their ambitions is not past jubaland.

Troops are all trainned and they disappear into thin air Maybe they are being trainned by foreign countries so that they could join AS.
Because Somalia has been getting their troops trainned for more than a decade and we dont see any changes.

These troops with all their macho cannot attack AS without US or AMISOM supervision. So they are all a waste.

Troops need commanders who are skilled and disciplined and resources to sustain them. Both things have been lacking since the FG was founded. The military became a resource for corrupt officials to plunder at the expense of regular soldiers whose salaries were misappropriated.
