Should he ? and clarify what he meant his speech in Germany , I think so as he made big error of judgement , I am not sure if he is a bad communicater and that he got it wrong what he wanted to put across
First he should have remembered he was addressing Somali community who their religion is Islam and culture Somali so he should have respected those two foundations in his speech and people should not have cheered him but corrected him
Surely he wanted to talk about woman's right in general and in Somalia context and that in modern era they should have their rights fully
As Muslims the Quran and the Hadith are the foundation of the religion and to say Sheikh's are using fabricated ones is out of line as he was also implying a Bukhari Xadeth that says women are incomplete is the fake one

I think those of us who lived and mixed with the west ought to be careful when we go back home what we take back if we want to aply it a Somali case as I think its totaly a different ball game you have to respect the culture , religion and the way the things is done there but dont try to spoon feed people back home your experience in the west
