Beledweyne has to be the most stunning beautiful city in Somalia. If only it had development it could be the next Venice

Along with Gaaljecel and Makanne, Jajeele, and Xawaadle reside in the west. Our historical family home is in Buundoweyn, a stones throw to the west of the bank to the right in that photo :)

That's because it's the largest riverine city in Somalia, if the other towns along the rivers were developed you's have quite a few Beledweynes dotting the south.

Buundowayn is mainly cabdalle Samatalis waliba laanta fiiltere your house will be in this pic shows some of fiiltare. you are qoraxsin west of the river. abdalle activists from this area siraad buulle and badri sandhool. hawadle of qoraxsin except buuloburde are non ali madahwayne. adan warsame is found on the jijeele side from laanta hilaac in howlwadaag(shanta dabakaayo) to farmajanaley(their janta kundisho) original hawadle in baladweyne were abdalle samatalis and yabar dige biggest being adan warsame who r farmers and fight with dir in kabhanley they live from garasyaani/beerxaano south of baladweyne to deefow spread abit on the westren banks before farmajabaaley, maroodile and farlibaax this is jijeel plain about 40km but like i said many time the border between hawadle and gugundhabe is not the river rather the jareer so from howlwadaag at siigaalow to the westren banks of deefow spread jareer before jijeele who are abit banaanka as nomads. here adan warsame have alot of farms within jareer area. on the buundowayn(southwest of baladweyne) abdalle has iskaashatooyin in gambarlawe, quracleey this is jareer area. like jijeele, gaaljecel more into banaanka from burjada ceynte, luuqjeelow and buqgoosaar. hawadle nomads cali and agoon settle along the highway to feerfeer and ethiopia(xarun ali madaxwayne all live with agoon cabdalla in north of feerfeer)

since 91 cali madaxweyne settled in xaawo taako(Gjiiama/xiinows picture wich is only ali madaxweyne lol) and kooshin(askarta lamagalaay area iyo maamulka) so now they r the biggest in baladweyne.

this is farmajabaley(jijeele plain) 20km northwest of baladweyne no shabaab this area just like north east of baladweyne. jijeele r cool with the hawadle farmers around in the jareer area and some time our nomads go there but they will never except gaaljecel! when hawadle were fighting dir they gave them safe passage to attack them from their west.
these mountains are ethiopia next to burdhiinle

mainly abdalle samatalis area(buulo xaabey and fiiltire)

The politics of the city proper and hiiraan is xawaadle dominated. Mayor, governor of hiiraan are xawaadle. The beledweyne district head is gaaljecel. Hiiraan as a whole has 14 tribes but in beledweyne
1- xawadle
2-gaaljecel
3- Makanne
4-Jijeele
5- others (shiiqaal, dir, HG, udjeejen etc)
As there is a river splitting the town and the region I advocate for it to operate more like twin cities before eventual unification of our territory on the shabelle( hiiraan, middle shabelle, lower shabelle) in the long term but the siyaasiin from my family are not politically savvy
