This wrong when it comes to Buurdhubo. How the hell does Reer Ugaas Shermarke have more MPs than Reer Yusuf wtf

I was quite surprised to see that as well and I am trying to explore and understand the background behind it.

The interesting thing is Maxamuud Sayid Addan and Kaliil were both based in Garbo as top political and military leaders of the forces against Shabaab when the administration was formed.

the tables are in different times, top on is more accurate as this is 2016 while the one below is 2008. this was pre al shabaab it has changed now.

what would be more interesting is baardheere district and how that is divided.

Please observe this sheegato with isku dirka Majeerteen. I have long admired the older MX generation for having the finest honed sense of smell where MJs are concerned.

Always knew the Eastern side of Garbahaarey District is pretty much Ina Nuur and reer Yusuf. The south of Garbo is pretty much reer Cismaan while the south east is reer Garaad territory.

The nothern side of Garba District is Habar Ciise (Maykaareebe) and the northeast is Cali Xussein (Shabeel Duula/Humbaale).

Most of the reer Siyaad live in a north/northeastern triangle between Shabeel Duulaa-Maykaareebe-Garbahaarey town.

The Western side on the River is the diverse part.

I am more surprised by the reer Mudug clans of Celi and reer Siyaad Xussein. I knew reer Kooshin/bah-Daarandoole were becoming a big part of Garbo but I didn't know those two groups had deegaan in Gedo.

Why did you leave out the bit that said one of the tables was from 2008 pre alshabaab? Or even give the people a link to the report writing by dansom.

The guy who wrote this and done this research I know and met him a few times in Nairobi. He is reer siyad guy. Met him in eastleigh but he lives in another part of Nairobi.

Weirdly enough Nomand is right. The second table with district council is from 2008 before Al Shabaab captured Garbo. The first table with Garbabahaarey town administration with Iman Kaarshe as District Commissioner is the current admin since 2016.

At first I was like what is this sheegato talking about. Even though he turned out to be correct, the thing with guilt is sometimes it is self-evident. Instead of harmlessly pointing out for correction purpose, the sheegato couldn't help himself with the traits that first made me smell a rat; namely that he is fundamentally motivated by bad faith, instigation, and division. 100% of the sheegatos conduct is to instigate conflict.

Garbahaarey used to be known as reer Ba'yeeyste city. Now it is not even a bah-Xawaadle city but fast becoming a bah-Hawiye and Mareexaan-wide city. Bah-Daarandoole with both reer Kooshin and reer Nuur have been heavily settling. It seems Kooshin Fagax can't seem to be far from reer Siyaad at the end of the day. In Mudug, you chose to live with us in Balanbale to Ceelgaab (Shilaabo) instead of living with bah-Ogaadeen and today you guys chose to live with us in Gedo.

Discount the district council by sub-clan. It is over a decade ago before even Shabab took over. To be honest, I think it reflected the reer Hassan-reer Siyaad beef.

Since you know previous reer Hassan-reer Ahmed beef resulted in reer Hassan monopolizing Luuq administration and barring any reer Ahmed representation (who compete with Hawlraarsame as the 2nd most populous Sade clan in Luuq) and reer Ahmed monopolizing Dollow administration and barring any reer Hassan representation, probably there was a 3 way situation here since reer Hassan and reer Siyaad also had beef.

As for reer Ugaas Shermaarke, the thing here is Buurdhuubo and its surroundings down the river. Is Buurdhuubo a district or not. Buurdhuubo and an Abgaal deegaan were the last "degmo" named by Siad Barre. They have both since been recognized as legitimate by Abdullahi Yusuf or Sh Shariif...can't remember. We all identify it as the 7th district in Gedo but I have noticed none of the UN or international agencies. To repeat the district council is old from 2008, it may be that Buurduubo was still part of Garbahareey before relegitimization. Reer Ugaas Shermaarke are the biggest reer Faarax Ugaas in Buurdhuubo and all the land going south and down river to Baardheere town (which is not far from Garbahaarey district) is their territory. Reer Ugaas Shermaarke generally go north from Baardheere to Buurdhuubo while Talxe go west toward Buusaar and Ceelwaaq. If Buurdhuubo is considered part of Garbahaarey, then that means also all the territory under it to Baardheere brings huge Ugaas Shermaarke representation to Garbo.

Dude all I know from Garbaharey til Buurdhubo on the western side and southern side is my jiffo hoose, Reer Fataax. On the road towards Baardhere yes, there's Reer Ugaas Shermarke. But town is majority my clan. I don't care. But I'm happy that got solved. All MX are welcome in Gedo.
