New Federal states

Proposal for 3 new federal states, the borders are based on multiple factors, everything from socio-economic to geographic neccesity, it takes into account clan demographic, dhaqan, lahjad as well, what do you guys think

1. Sanaag-Bari, possible names, Makhiir, Northeast, Wuqooyibari

2. Sool-Nugaal, possible names, Khaatumo, Nugaal-land, Soolnugaal

3. Galmudug, this one isn't really a proposal, but more like a federal state in waiting.

there are those Isaaq clans who have always aired their complaint about the Eastern regions being underdeveloped and ignored by Hargaysa, this is opportune time to form federal states that are supported by SFG, you will of course have to share it with your Darood neighbours Dhulbahante and Warsangili who themselves have similar interest as you, and with Puntland out of the picture there is no Eastern threat, but there is a huge cash bag for those who wish to join Somali nationalism and rekindle the integration of northern clans into the federal framework.

Questions of power sharing, mps, capital etc are secondary to bigger goals such as reuniting northern clans under the federal framework among other things.

The issue of Border between Puntland and SL has never benefited the locals, infact the only time the locals get any attention is when armed militias send from Garowe and Hargaysa cause havoc. So you must be brave and seek your own path.

Interesting breakdown of potential states in the north. It'll eventually be up to the elders and shacab of this region to come up with the most viable option that takes all variables into account. As for how it'll be formed I'm sure it's something the FGS has deliberated for a while now since some important ministers within the government hail from this region. If the breakaway secessionist maamul tries to interfere with the state building process in the region militarily, I believe that force will be necessary to end it with the Somali special forces being deployed there. Of course this will be undertaken once the south is consolidated.

furthermore this entire clan federalism is not Majerten fault, they just copied it from Isaaq, and this is what lead to 30 years turmoil, so we need to dismantle SL and PL and form real federal states that serves the inhabitants and not clan bosses in Hargaisa and Garowe.

There is nothing sacred about Wuqooyi identity, it is a fallacy Technically Bari is more Wuqooyi than Hargaisa, Wuqooyi is not even a compass point for Somalia, the real term is Wuqooyi Galbeed LMAO, dhaqan and lahjad wise Wuqooyi Galbeed are similar, but the further you go east it changes, it is not uniform across SL, the person in Laasqoray and Laascanood is unique from the person in Hargaisa/Burco, just like they are unique from the person in Gaalkacyo, they share more in common with the person in Garowe and Bosaaso respectively hence why I have drawn the borders that way.
