The master plan is to make Garowe the capital city of Somalia. This is a long ambitious dream held by the political elite in Puntland, these are the steps they took so far to make that dream a reality:

1998
- Formed Puntland and made the capital city Garowe
- Incorporated Sool and Sanaag to make it look like a powerhouse

2000
- Refused to recognized the first legitimate shot to reconstructing the Somali state
- Proof to the world the importance of Puntland to Somali state formation

2006
- Abolished central system from Somalia to Federal system. Gov changed from TNG to Transitional Federal Government (TFG)
- A. Yusuf tried other capital cities in Jowhar and Baydhabo
- A. Yusuf deploys Ethiopian and Puntland battalions, tangs, and armies to ravaged the capital city
- This further debilitated the ruins of Mogadishu and marked us inhabitable and unsafe
- This was central to forming the deadly shabaab wing of ICU

2009
- Inserted in the provisional interim constitution a clause that put a question mark to the capital city of Somalia, Mogadishu, and made it a point of contention to be deliberated and figured by successive mps/governments
- They cut ties with TFG multiple times to project power and influence
- They ran TFG through Garowe 1, Garowe 2, and Galkacyo accord
- They created upper house and got the biggest share of seats along with Somaliland

2012
- Cut ties with gov multiple times
- Created Jubaland state of Somalia despite gov objections and refusal
- Installed their own man as PM
- Created multiple security and national forums to basically ran Somalia with the gov

2017
- Serve as the opposition base and funding to under debt relief, reconciliation, SNA
- Serves as espionage for Kenyan and Emirate interests
- Went against all laws debated and passed by gov including petroleum bill

I say this because this dream is in its final leg where they have basically invited all Somalis to congregate in Garowe. The plan is if the opposition and Puntland don't get their way to create a parallel gov in Somalia based in Garowe. Once the gov is formed there it will be recognized as the official capital city of Somalia.

Hawiye are too low IQ to see that. You hate the freedom fighters but love the slave masters.

You wonder why Puntland is the hub of traitors and lab dogs, look how barren and desert this place is. No trees, greenery, or even life. Making this shithole a capital city is a dream for them and to hopefully transform the desert into a 21st century city.

Majerteen don't need to be the president to rule Somalia, all they need is to be the PM and hawiye to be the president.

they can get way more with a hutu president then even a MJ president, garowe 1 and garowe 2 is a prime example of how they have hutus under their thumb. You also have dameers like sharif and hassan fighting for Jubbaland way more then for galmudug. both did not even talk about galmudug or how the government dismantlement the suufis and got qoor qoor elected.

even abdishakur day in day out is talking about Gedo, while he briefly mentioned galmudug, it shows how Majerteen control them. walaahi im not even mad i am in awe at how majerteen control them with such ease.

both dameers are up in arms about Gedo/jubbaland which is none of their business.

Tulada garowe will never be the capital of Somalia. Marexaan have been out manuvered by majeerteen. If Farmajo doesn’t do as he’s told a new president will be crown in Garowe or Djibouti. He’ll then be removed by the new president from Mogadishu by force.

Marexaan now want to start a hawiye majeerteen war.

I don't see a issue with Garowe becoming capital. Muqdisho will still be the economic hub of Somalia.

All PL wants are funds not jagooying they said appoint garowe son Juxa for the pm post and will back Hawiye president. they want special status wich will allow them to deal with the rest of the world. i welcome this they r helping us making Xamar like SL and PL. 2. Special status(effectively meaning total autonomy)
3. Guaranteed Prime minister position in Mogadishu


Hawiye accepted it in return for
1. MJ votes for a unknown Hawiye President
