Guys, this isn't the old days where our little remote message boards was invisible and insular.
I write a topic (RANDOMLY MIND YOU) about something that didn't take me more than a second without any erious thought to it---
---and literally the NEXT DAY Abdirahman Abdishakur is weaponizing it on Twitter to thousands of Somalis after a conduit for NEGATIVE INFORMATION WARFARE (Hi Mr. Roble from Wardheernews) "stole" it and completely hijacked it.

Secondly, I have never shared this because the only reason to have done so would be "faan," but I will share it now for relevance.
I have come multiple instances where information that I have sourced was used to affect equity in Somalia.
I mean I am completely irrelevant to how the information was used, but I sourced it. Now the information changed equity because it was true and it was DIRECT RECORDS challenging a previously widely accepted, but false narrative grounded in subjective oral history.
But still, the information was SOURCED by me.
I am not the only one. We are PRODUCTS OF OUR TIME AND RECIPIENTS OF A TREMENDOUS LUCk.
Many of us have taken for granted our little cyber debates not realizing that we were the firsg generation in the INFORMATION AGE.
I am shocked at how much NEW information is uploaded faster and faster.
This is why I have said a lot of times recently that I will "post" something, but I continue to drag my feet.
That's because I have started to understand, ESPECIALLY NOW WITH EVEN YOUR SOMALI GRANDPA AND GRANDMA ON TWITTER ----that with great power, comes great responsibility.
I directly identify this as POWER because the weight of our impact is proportionate to just the extent of our lack of historical record.
Illiteracy, mythology, folklore, and highly disagreeable are just some of the ailments of our people.
What happened last year is reimagined without blinking.
That was fine. 100 years ago.
Even half dozen years ago for Somalis.
But it's not today.
We have to be careful about how we use information going forward.
I have decided it can't be the old.reckless way responding to invisible nobody in a remote forum.
I literally randomly put out the 1952 Benadir little mindless postsr and a day later equities are affected in widely disseminated interviews by SITTING parliamentarians.
That's why I am generally very guarded about this now and rarely am.quick to share.
ALSO; I am not implying anything about my abilities as a individual. Understand that well.
I LITERALLY HAVE NO MOREACCESS THAN THE 5 YEAR OLD KID USING HIS MOM'S PHONE.
Although I will say (due to my shamelessness) that I have developed random cyber research skills that are worth money in my opinion. AND I am highly intuitive so I intrinsically cut through white noise to get to what I want 50X faster than the average person. AND I am highly perceptive so with almost frightening clarity know how to take information and present it as clearly as possible with 0 misunderstanding to two different people standing right next to each other with two different ways of analyzing information.
But just that little faan asicr, no more greater access than anyone else.
So guys let's be more judicious about how to use information within the Somalia reconciliation context.
With that said, here is a teaser

Just an unfinished, quick teaser
