It’s confusion, Somali Kenya and Ethiopia and other African countries are celebrating Eidul Fitr tomorrow but since Saudis didn’t sight the moon, they don’t trust African countries and said Eid is Sunday, and a lot of its allies I guess Egypt, Emirates and other Arab countries are doing Sunday.
Majority of Somali Imams in North America and Africa announced Eid to be today, and I trust them and will be celebrating Eid tomorrow, who you celebrating with?
Are other non Arab countries like Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and Indonesia celebrating today or Sunday?
Majority of African countries said Eid is today but Saudia and majority of Arab Eid is Sunday?

According to tradition, for Eid to have any chance of validity, it must invariably have stamp of approval from the Kingdom. First time in recorded history, Skinnies deny Saudi Arabia the courtesy of being the world's sole authority on official Eid declaration.

The main point is to not differentiate yourselves from the local community.
The premiere authority in the UK on these matters has always been the London Islamic centre, who take their que from the Saudis.
Wherever you are you should celebrate Eid with your Muslim community......not on a separate day.
This year its a bit strange because all the masjids are closed.......nevertheless Eid Mubarak everyone.

For majority of Muslims, ciida is on Sunday. Niger and many African countries are celebrating it on Saturday. Sunday for Nigeria, Egypt and other African countries. This is due to the sighting of new moon. It's a confusion for the OP 'cause he's making assumptions.

It appears Somalia and the other countries that celebrated Eid on Saturday were wrong.
Dalalka ay Soomaaliya ku jirto ee shalay ciiday ayaa waxay u badan tahay in aragtida laba ka mid ah Meerayaasha, oo kala ah Venus (Waxaraxir) iyo Mercury (Dusaa) ay ku qaldeen dayaxa ama bisha, waxaa sidaas sheegtay xarun xiddigis ama cilmi-falag oo caalami ah.

The International Astronomy Center (IAC) released a statement said that it might have been a mistake to see the new moon of the Hejiri month of Shawwal yesterday evening.
Some Islamic countries, especially in west and east Africa, announced that today, Saturday, is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.
The IAC also revealed in a tweet posted to its page on the social networking site “Twitter”, that several countries such as Mauritania, Somalia, Senegal and Mali may have actually seen the planet Mercury and it was thought wrongly as the Shawwal crescent.
The statement issued by the IAC added that the two planets of Venus and Mercury were located very closely and strikingly over the western horizon where the sun sets.
Images taken from space showed the two planets were approximately in converging position.
This may be the reason for that mistake misled those Islamic countries to declare the Eid today.
Another tweet of the IAC said that a picture showing the location of the moon under the horizon at the moment of sunset, on Friday.
And the location of Mercury and Venus converging over the that horizon, as shown over West Africa.
A number of African countries, including an Arab country, announced that they were able to see the Shawwal crescent on Friday evening.
They celebrated Eid Al-Fitr today, Saturday, in contrast to the announcement by most Islamic countries that Sunday will be Eid, such as Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Qatar and Egypt.
There are inquiries about some African countries announcing seeing the crescent on Friday evening, despite the setting of the moon before the sun in all countries of the Islamic world.
It is noteworthy that the planets of Venus and Mercury were located above the western horizon and very closely and strikingly as shown in the attached pictures. This may be the reason.
