US broked talks between the FGS and SL is only about dept relief
US government and the donors are pressuring SL to be part of the debt relief programs and that is the main agenda in djibouti talks nothing about unity or powersharing as CCB claiming in social midea but it's a voctory for SL since Faraamjo was always saying "im not gonna meet these guys in a foreign country" and only had one secret meeting with biihi in Ethiopia. finally the reality has downed on him. some rumours say that he may not attend the meeting by himself.
next GLK surprise!.

Neither
nor
should have any debt because we have suffered enough for well over thirty years.
I agree with you that this meeting is a loss for Farnajo as he is unable to meet us inside Somalia or Somaliland. He has been forced to accept that this is an international dispute and that foreign leaders and multilateral representatives have to be present.
Ultimately Somaliland will win official recognition of its eternal independence

Lol Sahal, as always you take the ‘how does this possibly look bad for N&N view’ then post it. Everything has to somehow feed that narrative. If anything this is good press for N&N to say ‘we have had serious talks with Somaliland’. These will be the most high profile talks ever since ‘91 as far as who’s coming. Even Xassan Sh felt insecure about it and said ‘yaanla siyaasadaynin’ Now I do agree these will ultimately be fruitless talks but its a win win for Sland, N&N. Good press election photo op for N&N, Somaliland stay on the Wests good side.
Forget N&N, I don’t think any Southern Somali Government will accept Somaliland independence nor do I think Somaliland coming back. I see status quo next 15 years.

LMAO The Mucaarad complining Somaliland backstabbing them
Looma baahna inay Somaliland dhabar jabiso mucaaradka Soomaaliya iyo Ummada Soomaliyeed ee isbadal doonka ah ee La daalaa dhacaysa beenta iyo borobagaandada xukuumada N&N ee aan social media ha dhaafsanayn, waxaan u arkaa ilduuf siyaasadeed inay Somaliland ka ogolaato Farmaajo wadahadal xilli ay xukuumadda Soomaaliya u hadhay muddo lix bilood oo kaliya.

well in that case watch a domino effect of country after country bypass Somalia to recognise an independent Somaliland and establish relations with the latter. The world will tire of swallowing the fiction of the non existent union when they see a peaceful, functioning Somaliland that is fully separate from a Somalia that is itself fragmented and dysfunctionalMurax wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2020 8:12 am Lol Sahal, as always you take the ‘how does this possibly look bad for N&N view’ then post it. Re: US broked talks between the FGS and SL is only about dept relief
This is the case, somalia will continue to be non functioning recognised state while SL continues its search for aqoonsi.Murax wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2020 8:12 am

One is for sure, all landers have come to realise hawiye can’t use Somaliland against darod presidents tho, those days are over. It’s clear the hawiye opposition or clan has nothing to offer SL, nor will it have anything to offer in the future.

I'm really sorry for saying this but I would prefer all of the Horn of Africa except Somalia to be one country than only Somaliland and Somalia being one country. That's how much I don't want Somaliland to unite with Somaliacheifaqilbari wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2020 12:31 pm The Americans have already got their agenda ready muse and farmaajo are their only to be told what to do and sign the dotted line.
