It doesn't make sense. Macalimu and Barre Hiiraale are/were good guys. If Barre wanted to he could have really abused these people back in the day but he always made sure no one was touched. In fact when some Gaaljecel and Shiikhaal geeljire were trying to expand on their lands he deployed JVA troops and made sure no lands were taken from anyone illegally. That didn't stop their propaganda to smear his name though.

things are changing now. it is a zero sum game. no way will there be anymore nice guys like hiiraale and farmaajo.
