How Farmaajo changed jubbaland politics
say whatever you want about President Farmaajo but the guy is clever as hell, in 2019 the narrative was SFG vs jubbaland and today the narrative changed to mucalimo vs madoobe. he turned everything upside down. Madoobe went from controlling 9 degmos to today only controlling 2 degmos. there are some that say farmaajo lost but reality on the ground is farmaajo won and won decisively.
1) So what happend?
2) why did government accept madoobe?
3) And what is the future of jubbaland?
1) what happened?
simple the country moved towards a federalism model, so instead of the opposition to madoobe coming from the SFG which would be viewed as interference by the international community, Farmaajo simply created or shall i say empowered local jubbaland opposition to Madoobe. Now it is jubbalanders vs madoobe and madoobe is the one that in the end will be asked to compromise by the international community.
2) why did government accept madoobe?
Again the Government is changing it's position it succeeded in creating a strong local opposition to madoobe in fact the opposition to madoobe is stronger then the madoobe admin propped by Kenya. Therefore the government did not need on the outside seem as if it is undermining a federal state. It is now the job of mucalimo to destroy whatever is left to Madoobe.
3) And what is the future of jubbaland?
Mucalimo during his opening and closing speech in the beledxaawo shir stated "we will build an inclusive jubbaland government" he also said the key to that is capturing buaale. if mucalimo captures buaale then by all means he will be viewed as the legitimate president who is not just based in gedo, but his rule and control stretches two gobols (Gedo and middle jubba).

Re: How Farmaajo changed jubbaland politics
Weve been hearing about imminent Buale capture for months now with naught. The terrain is very uncompromising because of little to no road infrastructure, its also full of jungles that their enemies can use as cover. I highly doubt this operation is feasible without significant air support.
Re: How Farmaajo changed jubbaland politics
He encouraged his qabil majority gobol to be mucarad to madoobe. You guys keep saying 9 degmos like they are degmos all over JL but in reality they are all in Gedo.
Madoobe controls what matters, stay mucarad forever.

We control the biggest region within Jubbaland. We won't tolerate interference from Puntland it's kooxda Shaydaanmeen of Araan Jaan. You have enemies too who'll be more than happy to ally with us. Your proxy war will touch Puntland if you stay on this current course.

madoobe is a guest in kismaayo and only really controls one degmo (afmadow), KDF won't stay forever. the only degmo you are saying that matters (kismaayo) is also farmaajo's qabil majority.Halmogg wrote: Mon Aug 31, 2020 2:51 pm He encouraged his qabil majority gobol to be mucarad to madoobe. Re: How Farmaajo changed jubbaland politics
Mashallah Farmaajo did his bit but let us give credit to the man holding the mantle for Beesha Sade which is Macalimu, expand the borders of Gedo and form greater Gedo region, then make the neighboring giirgiir loyal to us by indoctrinating them into new Jubaland, majority rule minority rights.
We as MX have ignored Gedo far too long and focused solely on Kismaayo, we need to adopt new strategy, slowly but surely Gedo will flourish and expand even under these unfavorable conditions, when Macalimu reaches Kismaayo he will be welcomed like a King.

If we do census and not some made up numbers you will soon realize
Raxanaeeyn, Bantu, Absame will outnumber Sade in jubbaland . Harris and gaaljecel will follow. Keep dreaming boys.

Re: How Farmaajo changed jubbaland politics
The man that killed 100s of Reer diini in Kismaayo is today chilling in Xamar.
How come Farmajo is not arresting this Kenyati?
Madoobe killed 1000s of Mx in Kismaayo 2013 yet he is in Xamar.
Isn't Farmajo president of Somalia or Preaident of Villa Ugandishu?

Mashallah the fact he united Gedo into one political force which is actually becoming more active, I loved the press reports and increased media presence of Marehan demands. We finally gave a middle finger to "qabiil wa ceeb" to demanding our rights. Great indeed.

As Majerteen, I don’t see your laangaab qabiil as enemies but rather my cousins. But you ppl are full of cuqdad and are not willing to move beyond your laangaab hatred. May Allah help you.
