Lately, Dahir Alasow has been unnecessarily making many enemies, including Dahir Aweys. I wouldn't be surprised if a fatwa has been issued on his head. He should be careful, and particularly limit or stop recording videos at the parks he sometimes goes.

Not necessarily Hormuud, Dahir Aweys, etc. It could be an investor of Hormuud trying to safeguard the future of the company, a supporter of Dahir Aweys (there are many where Alasow lives), or even someone he knows or a relative. I've seen videos of his trip in GM, but he doesn't have a security detail in the city where he lives. Personally, I think he isn't smart for putting himself & family in serious risk.

Hundreds thousands depend their livelihood on Hormuud. The company does a lot of good things, including charitable, health, infrastructure, services, digging wells, providing fire trucks, feeding the poor, etc. Not everyone would ignore Alasow, hence why there's the likelihood of one individual taking matters into his hands.

hormuud is a mafia. Plus where do they do those charitable event are? most of those places are in hawiye lands. i dont mind it as they are a hawiye company. But they are basically in your cities sucking you dry and helping hawiye with your money.

More than 17999 Somali investors have shares in Hormuud Telecom. Among them, Somalis from every region (including Waqooyi Galbeed), North America, Europe, the Middle East, etc. It employs more than 20,000 full-time and part-time staff. Hormuud has done a lot for Somalia through its charity foundation Hormuud Telecom. During the Somali famine, the company donated over 600,000 dollars to famine relief efforts. Much of its charitable activities aren't advertised or reported.
