Is Ali Mahdi right that he Stole only 25k from the National Treasury and Paid it All back?

In an a bombshell interview with Somali Cable TV, former 90s Warlord and one time president admits to stealing 25000 sh from national treasury back in 1968 and bought a house with it
He also admits Abdullahi Yusuf government paying him one time $100k and another time $2 million but he never received the $2 million check.
He also admits receiving $4 million as a part of a large sum of $34 million from Saudi Arabia, but he spend it all on reconciliation meetings.

So does this mean Ali Mahdi should be forgiven because he is transparent and come clean or is this just the tip of the iceberg and there is much more we don’t know?

He said he had 5000 Dollars money a bank account in Italy , he hasn't touch it long time , what is all this giving out personal bank information, I am sure some people would check that info. if its true what he says or even steal it

I suspect odayga is suffering from dementia, or in his attempts to hide the truth, wuu isku dardarsamay. His numbers and figures do not add up. For instance, the claim that he stole the money in 1968 when he was 20 contradicts with what's known that he's 80 years old, born in 1939. He also claimed the source of his investments in multi-storey hotels & buildings is $100k he got from the late Abdullahi Yusuf about a decade ago, a dubious claim that also contradicts what a few of his supporters here have claimed that Ali Mahdi has been 'filthy rich' before & during the civil war. I suppose not many here have scrutinized the interview, 'cause they don't know af-Soomaali.
