In the latest weird arrest of music singers, Social Media influencers and journalists, Somaliland’s Biixi Administration full of Said Barre era officers adds another one to their growing enemy list, arresting popular singer Qamar Suugani as Somaliland court yesterday ordered to deport Tiktok star Bashir Bulshawi after two months in Hargiesa Jail.

Until and unless beesha caalamka grants Somaliland its ictiraaf, the administration there should continue the arbitrary detention of popular Skinny social media figures. This is the only way Somaliland can ensure its relevance on the world stage.
