Moalimu must remove all future obstacles to Gedo
The haramcad deployment to Gedo was helpful but needing this extra force in the first place is a issue. Gedo is second biggest region in Somalia and it needs proper defence since it's bordering two countries. The stabilization force should be expanded into a Gedo defence force that can operate alongside SNA and recruit all the local militias so noone can threaten the peace, progress and security of the region again.
It can later on morph into a proper Jubbaland army but the ground works needs to be laid down now.

I agree. A force at least 2000 men strong needs to be built. Use the government to train them and arm them if needed for the time being.

There should be a US training center formed in Gedo to be the pillar of security for the Jubbaland southern sector.
Something similar to the UK in SWS.
Moalimu and the leaders should begin a large scale recruitment for the locals to begin this process. The rest will be easy to implement if the groundwork is done already.

Absolutely, we need to funnel GDF seperwte funds and solicit it from US and EU. Farmaajo can play an essential role in this hopefully talks in Xamar bear fruit

Re: Moalimu must remove all future obstacles to Gedo
there is around 300 being trained in baardheere, couple of months ago 150 left beledxaawo to be trained and for the last 3 months 300 are being trained in dolow.
add that to the 900 that was taken from janan in dolow/beledxaawo plus the thousands that where in garbaharey/ luuq/ buurdhuubo and baardheere
i would say mucalimo has may more then 2000 men that are not soldiers sent by farmaajo but are soldiers that where already in gedo or are currently being trained in gedo

I am friends with Ogadens who also hail from Jubbaland and when we discuss current affairs, one clear mowqif (understanding) united us.
Our two communities united would be the preeminent force in South Central Somalia. We also hail from the same genealogical background, have the same daqan etc so it also would work better than with almost any other community in theory.
Which is why we can agree on compromising on things like both Madoobe/Fartaag/Ina Sayid Aden all being bad for our two communities at large.
I don't go at the supposed ogadens on the internet much since there are large portions of sensible intellectuals from that community that know our mutual interests are served in unison not apart.

ugaaska,
ogadeen is the 5th largest clan in jubbaland. ogadeen cannot even hold on the afmadow if the kdf where to leave let alone be a partner.
i have all already post a thread explaining the weakness of ogadeen https://www.somalinet.com/forums/viewto ... &p=4988151
this is from wikileaks
somali soldiers captured on their own without any help from amisom 3 cities from al shabaab
1) beledxaawo
2) luuq
3) ceelwaaq
MOGADISHU (Reuters) - Somali troops backed by pro-government militia took
two towns from rebel Islamist group al Shabaab in fighting on Monday
morning, local officials said.
Battles have raged across central and southern Somalia in recent weeks as
Somali troops backed by the moderate Ahlu Sunna Waljamaca militia struggle
to reclaim territory from al Shabaab, which has links to al Qaeda.
The soldiers captured Luq, 80 km (50 miles) from the Ethiopian border, and
Elwaq, a frontier town close to Kenya after taking Beledhawo over the
weekend.

Pro-Somali government forces have seized the town of Bulo Hawo on the
border with Kenya and Ethiopia from the hardline Islamist group al-Shabab.
while for madoobe from his own mouth said
In southern Somalia, the leader of the Raas Kaambooni Brigade, fighting
alongside TFG forces and the Kenyan military, said the areas freed from
Al-Shabab control urgently require food aid and medicine.
Mr Ahmed Mohammed Islan told the Nation the conditions are now safe for
international aid agencies.
Mr Islan, also known Madoobe, said the entry of the Kenya Defence Forces
on the scene led to the routing of the Al-Shabab, which had taken over
the strategic town by the sea.
The Kenyan troops are on the third week of Operation Linda Nchi in
Somalia aimed against the extremist militia blamed for insecurity across
the Horn of Africa.
The ultimate plan is to capture the two Al-Shabab strongholds of Afmadow
and Kismaayo and allow TFG to take control.

that is the difference between someone who is weak an implanted by kenya compared to actual jubbaland soldiers freeing their cities without any help whatsoever.
