Haji, 80, died at the Aga Khan University Hospital on Monday morning.

According to family members, the Senator was flown from Turkey a fortnight ago and later admitted at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, where he died Monday morning.

He joined Kenya’s provincial administration in 1960 as a district officer (DO) and rose through the ranks to become one of the country’s most powerful provincial commissioners.

He was the defence minister at the time of kenya invading somalia and was one of the key supporters of kenyan invasion. He was also happy and joyful of kenyan bombardment of gedo and the people of jubbaland.

Today he is dead and will answer for the thousands of innocent somalis that where killed by kenya.

First AUN. Second, give him a break. You can easily deduce Somalis in Kenya are second class citizens, and out of millions, the ruling Kikuyus can easily find many who would willingly become a defense minister who serves their interests, at the same time enjoy fame, wealth, etc. There are many Somali politicians in Somalia who are on Kenya's (also other countries) payroll, so you don't need to go as far as second class citizens in Kenya who wield little power & have suffered genocide, injustice, disenfranchisement, etc for decades. The phenomena has been observed in countries where Muslims are a minority. For instance, India had a Muslim president, albeit one who wields little/no power to fight for the interests of Indian Muslims.

Of course Somalia requested for Kenyas to come in and help and your own president signed and they come in as Amisom, stop blaming others.
Also There was never bombardment of Gedo, get real, a couple helicopters with machine guns targeting Alshabaab isn’t bombardement.

What do you think, Kenya doesn’t have a right to self defense? Two doctors were kidnapped and held in Gedo, a bus full of Kenyans were kidnapped and teachers executed and then they run to Gedo. Why don’t Gedo people secure their region from criminals and terrorists that carry out attacks and then cross the border?

Mandoers Bus attack

Where is the insult?

So saying what he has done while he was alive is an insult. Can you point out or quote anywhere where I insulted him?

Just because someone died does not wipe out what they have done while alive and he has killed thousands of innocent somalis in jubbaland.

It's the Kikuyus who ordered the bombings, as Yusuf Haji was just a face who was used and I wouldn't blame him. The Kikuyus are the enemy, not second class citizens who wield little/no power. AUN to the victims.

The Kikuyus were the architects, not the messenger. Over the decades, before Yusuf Haji's time, they carried out a number of genocides & massacres against Somalis in NFD.
