As a general matter this represents why it is so difficult and even impossible to do Somali historical theorizing at a substantive level without risking any perceived damage to someone/some group's assumed concept of their equity in Somalia.

Baashe who is the same clan as I am (Marehan!) spares me no recourse for including our clan in the same matrix that attempts to shed light on our ethnic group's evolutionary trajectory----as if we are somehow apart and singularly unique/exception.

Furthermore, Baashe finds offense where there is none and stubbornly forms a single exception to otherwise rationale/logical etymological organization.
