I agree with you, you pointed out N&Ns faults, they have many but overall I'm not being biased when I say its the first party that has cross clan support that you cannot pigeon hole into one, or even a few clans. Closest analogy would be Al Shaydaan, but they are deranged, foreign funded group. This support though that N&N gets enrages the politicians who for decades operated on the Clan X Vs Clan Y currency. I do not believe for one second even 15% of Abgal support Shariif, Culusow, and this is what is driving them insane. Many, many times you hear them talk in 1991 tones, which they thought would be a signal that would galvanize their Tol, but it didn't much to their dismay.
The likes of Deni, Faroole get enraged at Puntlanders wanted to protest Pro N&N, and can't understand why they are not siding with them for Tolnimo purposes.
