I've never understood the frequent usage of these two words by Somali politicians. Past elections involved & future elections would involve at least a dosage of something 'XAARAAN' ah. I propose they employ something like 'DOORASHO NADIIF', 'DOORASHO MUSUQMAASUQ LA'AAN', etc, and leave religious words out of politics.

I have been cringing for the longest time when I hear that word. The whole frigging Somali election process is filled with all kinds of Xaraam. The incredibly ironic thing is the same people that throw this word around all have had several accusations of financial thievery associated with you.
