Since no protest has any chance of removing (by force) Farmaajo from office, I think it's possible there won't be any similar protests in the future.

They've run out of options. Their best option was to remove Farmaajo from office by force, and the coup attempt was their only/last chance, but it's now impossible. They don't have a chance of unseating Farmaajo through election, so they're left with calaacaling, delay tactics & orchestrating spectacular operations that cause many loss of life & destruction. The gov ought to be vigilant. As I've stated before, much blood have to be spilled before the country is freed of politicians who serve the interests of foreign entities, ex-warlords, war criminals, criminal elements, etc.

Farmaajo's administration is f-king up big time. Blockading the opposition's rights to hold peaceful protest will only make Farmaajo's administration look bad.

Public opinion in xamar has swayed and people see farmaajo time is done like when nobody turned up for that meeting on the 4th. He knew both qoor qoor and laftagareen are in turkey lol. At least 20 killedaun, 30+ injured last night by a car bomb and that happened while all the roads were blocked that afternoon. In the long run this cant go on as shabaab gain ground, bomb civilians, federal troops in gedo for no reason, raising of taxes in xamar while shabaab tax 15m a month from the city, roads being closed in xamar etc
