Don’t let the political elites fool you. No matter the political disagreements. After 30 years, blood is still thicker than water.

You can support the independence of Somaliland and yet root for Somalia in their maritime dispute with Kenya at the same time, just saying
Regarding PL state, the MJs that are not Mahamud Saleban probably are supporters of Farmajo

Fair enough. That’s all I’m trying to say. Big break, let’s be frank, the stalemate between us isn’t sustainable. I want a final solution. Whether you go or stay. That’s up to you. But a solution nevertheless. My generation knows nothing of Hargeisa nor cares about it. Our future lives in the Indian Ocean and the Jubba river.

I agree and this can only end peacefully via Somalia recognising us. Look at how France and Germany went from bitter enemies to BFFs inside an integrated EU.

Well you and me agree. Personally we need to consolidate the south but Dubbe said this on the new social media app clubhouse:BigBreak wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 2:56 pm I agree and this can only end peacefully via Somalia recognising us. We don't have I'll feelings towards Somalia for no reason. It's Somalia that is anti somaliland. If Somalia becomes pro somaliland. We can be allies in the horn. That is the way for ward.

Im glad the hatred between Somalis have been extinguished. The kenyan bad case only soldifies this thawing of decades of tribal animosity. Alhamdullilah it is Allah SWT who is uniting the hearts at last.

Islam is above land or sea disputes. I don't see why any "Shiekh" would use Islam to justify shedding blood for a sea dispute. Kenya has Muslim population. As long as Islam isn't being attacked, there is no reason for any Muslim scholar to take sides in land, sea or air disputes fueled by politics and nationhoods.ReturnOfMariixmaan wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 2:23 pm Don’t let the political elites fool you. All jokes aside, social media skews the image Somalis have of each other,In real life Somalis don't give too much importance to FKD and get along just fine. Even in politics, what really matters is realpolitik and not some silly notion of unsophisticated tribal politics.Murax wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 5:18 pm Looks like finally Dhib u heshisiin between Isaaq, Beesha Sade on SNET![]()
Somaliland sees Farmaajo as an interesting character and maybe will take him seriously if he can survive the cut-throat politics of the South.
Regarding the Dhib u heshisiin, I don't think we really had a problem with Beesha Sade on Somalinet in the first place, or at least I didn't. Reer Sheekh Isxaaq and Mareexaan don't border each other (maybe in Danood K5 but I'm not sure) so there isn't the deep-seated rivalry between us, that you might find for example between HY and Ogaden, or HJ and Dhulbahante.
