I want to thank Jalle Farmaajo for uniting Gedo for the first time in 30 years. This is a great victory for the Somali people, a great victory for the Somali Government and a great victory for the people of Gedo!

What is there to celebrate honestly? Marehan in Gedo united due to Farmaajo using FGS resources to force the unification of the Marehan sub-clans of Gedo. Is this suppose to be a surprise? This is no surprise, but one that needs to be applauded. Farmaajo has played his cards correctly. He poured money and resources into capitulating any and all Marehan spoilers who are not going with the program.

Farmaajo gives Marehan Galguduud to Qoorqoor and in return Qoorqoor provided resources to Farmaajo in reuniting and taking over Gedo. You scratch my back and I'll scratch your back strategy beautifully deployed by Farmaajo's administration.
