This was my theory all along.
For a long time, I knew the contacts between the opposition and Djibouti such as IOGs exploratory meetings with Abdikareem Guled, Khaire and Deni which were intended to prevent former president from returning to power due to his supportive stance of Eritrea, the enemy of Djibouti. As one analyst said, he was quoted as saying that he believed that Djibouti wants only one tribe(hawiye) to rule Somalia so its clear he built his position on Djibouti on a tribal basis. Although he pretends to be a pseudo-patriot he brags about his qabyaalad behind the scenes as he told Deni and also said to 30 jir 30 millio heesta "if Godane was ruling hawiye what would prevent me from getting the same support?" Also he became against Kenya which supported him in the beginning and banned his opposition from meeting in Nairobi because of his position from the sitting clan in JL. This short vision made him today with no regional allies but most of them are against him and finally Ethiopia which is mired in a sea of troubles internally and regionally turned away from him!
Recently, the Ambassador of Djibouti met with Madoobi and Deni in Xalane and here they spoke of a role for Djibouti if the afisyoone conference fails and the conference that follows after it to be held in Djibouti for security reasons. Of course, the conference failed but they set a trap for him in Kinshasa when this issue was opened by Tshisekedi on behalf of Kenyatta!
watch out IOG inviting all the Somali stakeholders starting with Mursal to retrect from the illegal extension. Amisom will be neutral and observe and check the SNA as was mentioned in the AUPSC statement. he is done!

Re: This was my theory all along.
Why should Somalia support Djibouti when they refused to join our Somaliweyn at the height of our golden era ? so we should go to war for their sake but will not be allowed to annex them ? do you know how insane and silly that sounds ?

its wrong to claim Djibouti as somali region. they have powersharing 50/50 even the afar have more parliament seats than ciise who shares its 50% with gadabursi and isaaq. they have the pm, the speaker, cabinet is split 50/50 and have important ministerial portfolios. Djibouti first lady has afar son from the former afar pm kamil. ciise fear he may succeed IOG as his successor is unknown yet. let us stop here.

"She has a son from her first marriage, Naguib Abdallah Kamil, who she is reportedly grooming for "high political responsibilities",
