MX don’t have a particular problem with him. He was part of USC we fought, lakin MX believe ragg wey dagaalamaan weyna heshiyaan. But I think MJ’s claim he killed 700 of them in Gaalkacyo in 1 night but that’s all in the past. Today he’s a senator.

Odeygaan watch, when his time approaches and the Angel comes for him---Somalis will come from the 4 four corners of the world to pay attribute.

I think his redemption story is the most poignant yet extremely underappreciated example in modern Somali life, but I think it will grow beyond measure as time goes by and history looks back at how compelling this man's story is since that incident.

I won't name any names, but some fellas at his age still in the politic environments could use some of his inspiration
