He was the reason Somalia had civil war when he destroyed the Democratic system to one man tribe system.

AUN Siyad Barre, he prevented a somali civil war on 1969 and delayed it for 21 years.

MSB (AUN) was one of the main roots of the civil war in 91. Everything from his power hungry schemes, his brutal repressions, his collective punishments on tribes, etc. made the country eventually go ballistic. And him remaining 21 years in office is one of the reasons why Somalia is in its predicaments. He should've just stepped down after the Ogaden war.
