There is roughly the same percent of Daaroods in Somaliland and Somalia, but in Somaliland they can't be anymore than the speaker of parliament. Why is this ?

Because the founding fathers made sure it is enshrined in Somaliland constitution that a qaldaan of Faqash extraction never be allowed to hold the office of the president. Owing to their caqlixumo, Wanlaweyns never had the foresight to implement a law similar to that of Somaliland, thus why Faqashs are to this day not exempted from holding the highest office in the land.

There has never been in the history of somaliland the past 30 years a darood tied to run for president. Its kind of strange. There was one attempt of wanting the vice-president. By xalgatooaiye but the kulmiye party wasn't having that back in 2016. Darood in somaliland are from a small clan called harti and they are less then 12 percent of the actual population. I think there are more daroods in Somalia not by much. But most hawiyes love their darood cousins. It was hawiye that supported failmaajo over their own in the selections. Hawiyes were doing the niiko for the cheese guy and his clan.

Because Somalia doesn't have real elections but Somaliland does. Somalia is majority Hawiye I think plus the capital Mogadishu is HAG territory hence why Somalia should only have Hawiye guys serve as president

Somali land state is not very democratic. They make fun of 4.5 system, but they have a worse system of 2.5 where HA and HJ (Jeegan alliance) each are 1 and everyone else is 0.5 and has no real chance of leading the country. It’s a clan state.

Somaliland had a samaroon president different isaaq sub clans as president. As for Somalia it claims 4.5 but only hawiye and darood are allowed to be president or prime minister. Digil mirifle and dir are part of 4.5 but are not allowed to become president or prime minister

Darood in Somaliland are too langaab to stand a chance. All Darood votes combined wouldn’t get them 10% of vote. 3rd place is fair.

I don't know man. Half of sanaag and 80% of Sool and 20% of Togdheer should be more than 12% of the population. Like somewhere between 15-20 %. Yeah hawiye people are just weird. These niggas will give the prime minister or presidency to smaller and weaker daarood without receiving anything back. Damn.

Sanaag is 60% empty and the most populated section is Isaaq majority.
Sool is tiny region but Isaaq make up a sizeable minority.
Togdheer is 94% Isaaq with only a single town that's on the border with Ethiopia being non Isaaq.
If you add up all the non Isaaq's together they will make up no more than 10-15% and that's me being generous..

Somaliland is a clan state for Dirta Waqooyi. It isn’t a real country. I consider it a federal state like the others

Somaliland is a nation not a tribal entity. The Isaaq people themselves are nation of 4 million people. Somaliland is not a federal state its a independent state that aiwaits dejure recognition. And deep inside you know this to. Don't let your darood side cloud your judgement it is not a federal state. To be a federal state
It has to abide by a federal constitution. And it needs to. Be federated to a said country this is neither the case. Soo runta ka hadal fat boy saddaam.

Drunk Khalid,
I don’t believe you. Until I see a Harti president, I just don’t believe you. You can’t sell me bullshit. Plus, the economic development is tribal based even to your own fellow Duriyada

You can believe what you want but the facts don't change
Harti can be president of they are elected or voted on only then there is no force in the holy land of Somaliland
Somaliland is a head of Somalia on every front may it be economy democracy trade. Port bussines

However flawed the sl elections.....they're light years ahead of any other Somali region.
As a Democrat I'll always support 1 man 1 vote over any other "election".
The only issue with sl elections is that it splits along tribal lines.......this had been pretty much the case since 1960.
There is reason for optimism......as the majority of the population will be under 25 in the near future....there is a correlation between youth and less qabilism.
The joker in the pack are the Islamists......if they were more politically organised they could be a force in every northern region.
