2 Cayr were given in exchange for Marexaan gaining 3 Seats in the dhuusomareeb council. Its a fair deal imo.

Turb, my father's reer Ayeeyo section of Cayr/reer Ayaanle/reer LIIBAAN have never even lived with other reer Ayaanle let alone Cayr.

My grandpa (dad's dad) told me before when reer Siyaad moved during Jiilaal, reer Liibaan''s ood would be right next to where reer Siyaad made base.

When rer Siyaad moved back to Galijeer Wells (Balanbale) during Gu, rer Liibaan's new ood would be righr next to our new base again.

I don't even know what conflict between Cayr even caused this behavior in reer Liibaan but even during the civil war in 1991 reer Liibaan (according to my own grandfather) all went to the Beled-Weyne front so they didn't have to be part of the hostilities between Balanbale and Guriceel.

They are interesting and the next experience I recently had in Muqdisho wallahul cadiim.

I was being in a bajaaj and as random convos go, the Marehan accented with even a Wardheer twang driver turned out to be Cayr/reer Ayaanle/reer Liibaan. There is only two surprises that I have;

1. I don't see UurMidig.
2. I don't see Sheekhaal/Aw Qutub

I am interested to see the Dhuusamareeb council to see if that's where Uurmidig and Sheekhaal/Aw Qutub have been included.

There is no way that Qoorqoor or any Habar Gidir can interfere or dare put a stop to the maamul of Balanbale or Caabudwaaq or Dhabat or Bangeelle or Dalsan, etc. Just like no Marehan is going to interfere in Cadaado, Hobyo, etc. It will go against the entire basis of Galmudug's voluntary participation. As you know, Galmudug is not Jubbaland or Hirsbabelle where either a foreign power (Jubbaland) or the Federal Gov (Hirshabelle) forced a settlement. Galmudug is entirely voluntary coming together and there is no power on earth that can bring it together another way.

3. Finally, I am not going to go into detail, but the issue in Balanbale has to do with Reer Warsame and Reer Siyaad who have both, together as bah-Xawaadle, refused to accept the Balanbale gole deegaan and are ironically both politically battlinf each other for D.C and overall supremacy of the deegaan according to their assumptions.

For me the question is, why did Minister Waayeel announce this if the deal was not finalized. I don't get it, this is self- inflicted wound.

I havent seen any public dissention from Reer Siyaad /Warsame elders the only MX who have been publicly vocal against the council were the Uurmidig who deserve their rightful seats. I have been disconnected from Galmudug inner politics lately and currently not in Somalia. Please do inform me why they are squabbling over this.
